At Emmersion we are on a mission to close the global communication gap. We’re doing this by building an adaptive language assessment and learning engine that is affordable, reliable, and saves our customers time. Our customers use our assessments to make hiring and placement decisions for multilingual professionals and language-learners. We create innovative assessments and tools that ensure our customers’ test-takers are being accurately assessed on their language ability and that our customers are able to make confident, evidence-based decisions.

As a UX designer at Emmersion, you will be responsible for creatively solving problems and designing experiences that create value for Emmersion and its customers. It is expected that you will be able to plan and facilitate a variety of discovery activities including user research, stakeholder interviews, in-app feedback experiences, design workshops, and usability testing sessions.

The product development group is small, but very productive. You’ll belong to a cross-functional product development team with several experienced engineers and a product manager. You’ll report directly to the Head of Product, who works closely with the team to ensure that they have a clear understanding of Emmersion’s product vision and strategy and that they have opportunities to grow in their career.
